SUVA, Oct 20 (NNN-PINA) – More than 90,000 visitors landed in Fiji in Sept, according to the Fiji Bureau of Statistics, yesterday.
The bureau’s Chief Executive, Kemueli Naiqama said, 90,439 visitors arrived in Fiji in Sept, an increase of 24.5 percent compared to a year earlier.
Of the 90,439 visitors, 89,203 came by air, while 1,236 came by sea.
Tourism Fiji, a tourism marketing arm of the Fijian government, launched a new brand campaign themed “Where Happiness Comes Naturally” to attract more foreign visitors this year.
Tourism Fiji Chief Executive, Brent Hill, said earlier that, Fiji is a small island nation with a lot of happiness to offer, and this new brand platform, showcases the rich and diverse cultures and traditions in Fiji.– NNN-PINA
