YANGON, Oct 19 (NNN-MNA) – The Myanmar National Futsal Team jumped from 83rd to 78th, in the world rankings, according to the latest Futsal World Rankings, released yesterday.
Myanmar is ranked 4th in ASEAN, 18th in Asia and 78th in the world rankings, media officer of the Myanmar Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee, U Nyi Nyi Moe Aung, said.
The team achieved good results in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024 qualifiers, which is one of the reasons for its higher ranking, he said.
The Myanmar team has risen five places to reach 78th place, thanks to its good performances, he added.– NNN-MNA
