IRGC Says “Enemies” Have No More Options To Confront Iran

TEHRAN, Iran, May 9 (NNN-IRNA) – The Chief Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami, said Wednesday, that, “Iranian enemies” have no more options to use against the Islamic republic.

Salami said, although “confrontation between Iran and the arrogant western powers has reached its highest point,” the adversaries have exhausted all in their capacity against the Islamic republic, Tasnim news reported.

“The Iranian enemies have made battle formation in the economic, cultural and social sectors,” he said.

The IRGC has power to defeat the enemy with its coalition front, he added.

On Wednesday, Iran announced withdrawal from some of its commitments pertaining to the 2015 nuclear deal and threatened to do further, if its interests under the pact cannot be honoured.

The move by Iran comes in the context of U.S. withdrawal from the deal and re-imposition of large-scale sanctions against the Islamic republic.– NNN-IRNA
