KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 (Bernama) — UMW Grantt International Sdn. Bhd. (“UMW Grantt”), a wholly owned subsidiary of the UMW Group, and the producer of Grantt Lubricants, today introduced its biodegradable multi-purpose food grade grease, expanding its offering in the green product line-up. The Grantt Multi-purpose Food Grade Grease was launched by YB Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change at the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (“IGEM”) 2023, Southeast Asia’s largest trade event for green technologies and eco solutions, at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
UMW Grantt together with UMW Innovation and R&D Centre Sdn. Bhd. collaborated with Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al Sultan Abdullah (“UMPSA”) and MNR Multitech Sdn. Bhd. to develop the first biodegradable multi-purpose food grade grease to be commercialised in Malaysia. The Grantt Multi-purpose Food Grade Grease is distributed in a 400-gram packaging and competitively priced.
