NEW YORK, Sept 20 (NNN-XINHUA) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6, jolted 43 km west of Methven, New Zealand, at 21:14:49 GMT on Tuesday (LAST NIGHT), the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), said.
The epicentre, with a depth of 11.7 km, was initially determined to be at 43.71 degrees south latitude, and 171.12 degrees east longitude.– NNN-XINHUA
