NEW DELHI, Sept 15 (NNN-PTI) – At least four persons were killed and a few others injured, after a lift crashed inside an under-construction building, in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh, today, a local police confirmed.
The mishap occurred in the state’s Greater Noida area, nearly 30 km from the national capital. All the deceased were construction labourers.
“A lift was being installed inside the building, which suddenly collapsed, leading to the deaths of the four construction labourers. A couple of others were also injured in the mishap,” he said.
The injured were admitted to a local hospital.
Investigation of the incident is underway, said the police.– NNN-PTI
