YANGON, Sept 15 (NNN-MNA) – Miss Kengtung, Amara Bo, was crowned the title of “Miss Universe Myanmar 2023” in the Miss Universe Myanmar 2023 finale, held in Yangon, last night.
A total of 32 beauty contestants representing the big cities in Myanmar participated in the Miss Universe Myanmar 2023.
Amara Bo, who represented Kengtung, a city in eastern Myanmar’s Shan State, won the crown to be a contestant in the upcoming 72nd Miss Universe Competition, which is set to be held in El Salvador, later this year.
“It is my second time to compete for the Miss Universe Myanmar. I’m very happy as I win the crown this time. I will prepare my best to represent Myanmar in the international competition,” she said.
Miss Universe Myanmar Pageant 2023, is the 10th time of such kind which has been held since 2013. Zar Li Moe, representative of Bhamo in northern Myanmar’s Kachin State, won the title last year.
Miss Universe is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious beauty pageants.– NNN-MNA
