Cuban PM receives his Djibouti counterpart

HAVANA, SepT 13 (NNN-ACN) — Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz received at the government headquarters his counterpart from Djibouti, Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed, who is on an official visit to Cuba.

The delegation of the African country, which is in Havana to participate this Friday and Saturday in the Summit of the Group of 77 and China, held official talks with a high-level Cuban representation, also composed of Foreign Ministry officials.

On X, the Government shared images of the meeting, which was attended by Josefina Vidal, deputy minister of foreign affairs, and Carlos Miguel Pereira, general director of bilateral affairs of the same ministry.

Cuba and Djibouti will celebrate next November the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

During that time, both nations have maintained and expanded their collaboration ties, especially in health, and recently in education, with the implementation of the Framework Agreement on Cooperation and Technical Assistance in education and the training of professionals. — NNN-ACN
