BUENOS AIRES, Sept 12 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA) — The Argentine government authorized exporting natural gas to Chile through the end of 2024, so it means the strengthening of an energy integration program, the Argentine Foreign Ministry informed.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry assured this is the result of a joint work between the Department of Latin American Affairs, headed by Gabriel Fuks, Argentinean Energy Secretariat, the Chilean counterparts and representatives of the private sector.

In addition to guaranteeing natural gas exports to Chile for the 2023-2024 summer season, Argentina authorized natural gas sales for the subsequent winter season for up to five million cubic meters per day, Fuks said.

Fuks further indicated that, from October to December next year, the amount per day will increase to nine million cubic meters. — NNN-PRENSA LATINA
