Myanmar Earns Over Four Billion USD From Manufactured Exports In Five Months

YANGON, Sept 9 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar saw its export of manufactured products earned over 4.08 billion U.S. dollars, in the first five months of the fiscal year 2023-24, the Ministry of Commerce said, yesterday.

Ministry figures showed a decrease of over 962 million dollars, during the Apr-Aug period from a year earlier.

The manufactured goods sector topped the country’s export list with the most export value, followed by agriculture and fishery sectors, according to the ministry’s data.

Myanmar mainly exports agricultural, animal and marine products, minerals, forest products and manufactured goods, to its foreign trade partners, including China, Thailand, Bangladesh and India.

By Sept of the current fiscal year, through next March, the country’s exports totalled over 6.48 billion dollars.– NNN-MNA
