ALGIERS, Sept 4 (NNN-APS) – Devastating floods have killed eight people in western Algeria, announced the country’s civil protection services, yesterday.
The floods, which occurred on Saturday evening, swept away a vehicle in the province of Tlemcen, claiming the lives of two men and two women, it said.
In El Bayadh Province, two women and a man deceased after their vehicle carrying them was swept away by floodwaters, said the services, adding, later another person was found dead in the province.– NNN-APS
