Five Injured In Hospital Bomb Blast In Myanmar’s Mandalay

YANGON, Sept 1 (NNN-MNA) – Five people were injured yesterday, in a hospital bomb blast, in Myanmar’s second largest city, Mandalay, the information team of Myanmar’s State Administration Council said.

The explosion occurred at around 1:30 p.m. local time yesterday, at a hospital in Mandalay, it said.

The information team reported that, two men on a motorcycle entered the hospital premises, throwing two hand-made bombs before going away.

The victims of the explosion were five female office staff members, the information team said.– NNN-MNA
