Man Charged After Two Boys Died In Fatal Crash In Sydney

SYDNEY, Aug 27 (NNN-AAP) – Police charged a driver, a 33-year-old man, after two boys aged 10 and nine, died in a crash in Sydney’s south, according to a statement released by the New South Wales (NSW) Police, last night.

The accident happened just before 10.00 p.m. on Friday. Emergency services were called to the Grand Parade, a key road corridor that moves people and goods across the Sydney Metropolitan area, after a sedan left the road and crashed into a tree.

Police will allege the driver lost control of the southbound vehicle and crossed to the incorrect side of the road before the impact.

Two boys on board were taken to a hospital where they died. Another passenger, a nine-year-old girl, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver was taken to hospital under police guard. He was charged yesterday afternoon, with two counts of dangerous driving causing death, and one count of causing bodily harm by misconduct.– NNN-AAP
