NEW DELHI, Aug 21 (NNN-PTI) – At least seven people died and 28 others were injured, when a bus carrying around 35 passengers, fell into a deep gorge, in India’s northern hilly state of Uttarakhand yesterday, confirmed a local police officer.
The accident took place on the Gangotri National Highway, near the Gangnani area, when the bus was moving from Gangotri to Uttarkashi.
The injured were admitted to a local hospital, said a senior state government official.– NNN-PTI
