India’s Moon Mission Completed Lunar Manoeuvres, Lander Module To Get Separated Tomorrow: ISRO

NEW DELHI, Aug 16 (NNN-PTI) – India’s Moon Mission-3, or Chandrayaan-3, completed Lunar-bound manoeuvres and entered into an orbit of 153 x 163 kilometres as per the plans, confirmed the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) today.

The next step is to prepare for the Propulsion Module and the Lander Module, as they gear up for separation slated to take place tomorrow, added the ISRO.

The country’s Science and Technology Minister, Jitendra Singh, hoped that India’s Moon Mission-3 might be able to achieve some more evidence of the presence of water, thus establishing a connection with the possibility of human habitat being possible on the Lunar surface.– NNN-PTI
