SYDNEY, Aug 6 (NNN-AAP) – Police in Australia’s state of Queensland, said yesterday that, a man was shot by police and died at the scene.
According to a statement released by Queensland Police, officers came to an address in the City of Moreton Bay, in the afternoon, to take the 29-year-old man into custody. They were threatened by the man before police discharged their firearm.
Immediate first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) were provided for the man, before he was declared deceased at the scene, the police said.
A crime scene has been established at the address, while police investigations continue, the police said.– NNN-AAP
