SEOUL, Aug 4 (NNN-YONHAP) – A high school teacher was stabbed this morning, inside the school building in South Korea’s central city of Daejeon.
The teacher, in his 40s, was stabbed by a male suspect, estimated to be in his 20s or 30s, in Daejeon, about 140 km south of the capital Seoul, at around 10:03 a.m. local time (0103 GMT).
Waiting outside a classroom, the suspect stabbed the teacher who came out of the classroom to go to the toilet.
The teacher was taken to a hospital unconscious, and the suspect who had yet to be identified remained at large.
Yesterday, 14 people were injured in a stabbing spree that occurred in Seongnam city, some 20 km south of Seoul.– NNN-YONHAP
