US: 2 injured in small plane crash in Washington state

WASHINGTON, Aug 1 (NNN-XINHUA) — Two people were injured in a small plane crash Monday morning at Renton Municipal Airport, in the northwestern U.S. state of Washington, authorities said.

Responders found a plane carrying two people upside down on the runway, the Renton Regional Fire Authority said on social media.

Crews were taking one person to a hospital and said the other person was treated and then released. Crews were also treating a fuel leak, the department said.

The Boeing Fire Department, and King County fire and medic teams were also responding, local media reported. — NNN-XINHUA
