“The accident took place when a microbus carrying 17 Bangladeshi expatriate workers fell into a roadside deep ditch as its tyres were burst out,” Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Golam Moshi told BSS over telephone.
Among the passengers, he said, 10 Bangladeshi nationals were killed and seven others injured. “Five received serious injuries while two minors,” he added.
The critically injured passengers were rushed to the hospital, he said.
