SANAA, Jul 27 (NNN-SABA) – Four soldiers were killed and several others injured, in explosions of two explosive devices on a main road, in Yemen’s south-western province of Taiz, state-run Yemen TV reported, yesterday.
The ambush occurred on Tuesday, in the southern district of Al Maqatirah, when the soldiers, travelling in a military convoy, returned from a frontline, near the southern province of Lahj, said the report.
The explosive devices were planted by the Houthis, who infiltrated the area, and were detonated remotely, it added.– NNN-SABA
