LISBON, July 14 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA) — Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived in Lisbon on Thursday for his first State visit, which will be extended until Sunday, at the invitation of his Portuguese counterpart, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
The Cuban delegation is made up of Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Ana Teresita Fraga, among other officials.
On Twitter, Diaz-Canel stated that this visit had been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and would be an excellent opportunity to expand historic relations.
