SYDNEY, Jul 12 (NNN-AAP) – The police in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW), said today that, a 22-year-old man has been charged, after a multi-vehicle collision in Sydney’s inner west, injured five people overnight.
At about 6:50 p.m. local time yesterday, emergency services were called to Liverpool Road, Strathfield, after receiving reports about a six-car crash.
Paramedics treated five men, aged 28, 24, 30, 41 and 28, on scene, before they were taken to hospitals in a stable condition.
A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to a police station. He was charged with driving conveyance, taken without consent of owner, failing to stop and render assistance, five counts of causing bodily harm by misconduct in charge of motor vehicle, and possessing prohibited drug.
NSW Police Force established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, with inquiries continuing.– NNN-AAP
