KABUL, Jul 4 (NNN-ANA) – Afghan police have arrested 29 people on charges of involvement in criminal activities, in Afghanistan’s capital city, Kabul and the eastern Kunar provinces, said a statement by the country’s Ministry of Interior Affairs, released here today.
The arrested people were involved in illegal activities, such as robbery, mobile snatching, forgery, theft, drug smuggling and creating law and order problems in the country, the statement said, adding that, further investigations were underway.
The Afghan caretaker government has vowed to crack down on criminal elements across Afghanistan, to ensure law and order in the war-torn country.– NNN-ANA
