NEW DELHI, Jul 1 (NNN-PTI) – At least 26 people died and a few others were injured, after a passenger bus caught fire, in India’s south-western state of Maharashtra today, confirmed a local police, over the phone.
The cause of the accident is not known yet.
The mishap took place on the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway, near Nagpur city.
The bus had 33 passengers onboard and was travelling from Yavatmal to Pune, when the mishap occurred.– NNN-PTI
