MADRID (Spain), June 6 (NNN-ANDINA) — Entrepreneurs from the Spain-Peru Council Foundation (FCEP) expressed optimism about the business climate in Peru at a meeting with Peruvian Prime Minister Alberto Otarola on Monday.
During the meeting, which also included Peruvian Foreign Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi, Spanish investors renewed their confidence in the Government of Constitutional President Dina Boluarte.
Peru’s government officials invited entrepreneurs to be part of a new wave of investment in the country, especially in projects that create a service-oriented infrastructure for the benefit of the most vulnerable families.
The Cabinet chief highlighted the fact that about 500 Spanish companies —in various areas of strategic importance for the economy, such as telecommunications and finance— are firmly established in Peru and constitute a source of employment for thousands of its citizens.
For their part, the participating companies expressed their commitment to continue investing, generating employment, and contributing to the social development of Peru.
Thus, Otorola continued his working visit to Madrid, which includes meetings with important Spanish authorities.
Earlier on Monday, he held a working meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares.
Likewise, the Peruvian Prime Minister met with the Third Vice-President of the Government of Spain, Teresa Ribera. — NNN-ANDINA
