CYBERJAYA, May 10 (Bernama) — The highly anticipated Malaysia Autoshow 2023 closed its door after a 4 day long showcase, leaving car enthusiasts and industry insiders in awe of the latest advancements and innovations in the automotive industry. The event, which took place from May 4th to May 7th, showcased an impressive range brand that manufacture or distribute cars, 2-wheelers, EVs, accessories and technology providers.
This year’s Malaysia Autoshow received about 190,000 visitors this year, pushing the space at MAEPS to its limit. Notably, the Autoshow broke the billion-ringgit threshold, with OEMs reporting a total RM1 billion potential sales during the 4-day event and a total of about 2,200 bookings of vehicles and about 6,800 sales leads gathered.
