PHNOM PENH, May 6 (NNN-AKP) – Four people died, after a gold mining pit collapsed in central Cambodia’s Kampong Thom province, said a police report yesterday.
The incident happened on Thursday, at the gold mining pit in Sandan district’s Snang On village, said the Kampong Thom Provincial Police’s report, adding that, the victims were all male aged between 28 and 38 years old.
Sok Heng, chief of Snang On village, said, the pit was around three metres deep, and police recovered those bodies, after other villagers reported the collapse Thursday.– NNN-AKP
