Kenya: President Ruto, Japanese PM Kishida Fumio to hold talks

NAIROBI, May 3 (NNN-KBC) — President William Ruto will hold talks with visiting Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio Wednesday at State House, Nairobi.

Prime Minister Kishida Fumio arrived in the country Tuesday and was received by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

The Japanese Prime Minister is on a two-day state visit.

The two leaders are expected to hold bilateral talks on further strengthening ties between Kenya and Japan, strengthen coordination on regional and international affairs and promote African growth in businesses.

Fumio is also set to meet with the Japanese business community, young volunteers and start-ups. — NNN-KBC
