RAMALLAH, April 24 (NNN-PETRA) — Dozens of Jewish extremist settlers on Wednesday morning stormed Al-Samu’ town in the southern West Bank city of Hebron under heavy protection of Israeli army to perform their religious rituals under the pretext of Jewish holidays.
A statement by Al-Samu’ municipality, according to Jordan’s news agency Petra, said that Israeli forces closed the surrounding area of the town’s ancient tower to protect dozens of settlers while performing their Passover Talmudic rites.
Meanwhile, the occupation troops raided al-Dhahiriya, Yatta, Tafouh towns and Abu Sneineh neighborhood in addition to the villages west of Hebron, erected military barriers at the entrances and prevented Palestinian citizens movement under unjustified pretexts.
