Japanese PM Uninjured After Explosion At Wakayama Speech: Japanese Media

TOKYO, Apr 15 (NNN-NHK) – Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, today, was evacuated unscathed, after an object that appeared to be a smoke bomb was thrown near him during his visit to western Japan’s Wakayama City for a stump speech, local media reported.

Kishida, who was scheduled to give a speech in support of the by-election of the House of Representatives, left the scene after an explosion was heard and smoke filled the area, according to Japanese media.– NNN-NHK
