ISLAMABAD, Apr 8 (NNN-APP) – Two policemen were killed and one other was injured, in an attack on their vehicle, in Pakistan’s north-west Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, yesterday, rescue sources, said.
The policemen were on routine patrolling across Swabi district of the province, when unknown terrorists hurled a hand grenade at their vehicle, sources from the state-owned Rescue 1122, said.
The injured policeman, shifted to a nearby hospital, was in a critical condition, said the sources.
Police cordoned off the site following the attack, and a search operation is underway.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.– NNN-APP
