ISLAMABAD, Mar 31 (NNN-APP) – The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) of Pakistan, seized over 4,279 kg of narcotics and arrested 144 culprits, involved in the smuggling, during the first 28 days of Mar, according to official data released yesterday.
The ANF conducted 136 separate operations and seized drugs, including heroin, hashish, opium, methamphetamine and others.
The seized drugs include 80 kg of heroin, 3,702 kg of hashish, 409 kg of opium and 68 kg of methamphetamine.
The drugs, which were valued at over 90 million U.S. dollars in the international market, were confiscated during the operations in different parts of the country.
The ANF also impounded 41 vehicles that were being used to smuggle the drugs.
It had registered separate cases against the accused and started further investigations.– NNN-APP
