PENGERANG, Johor, March 27 (Bernama) — PETRONAS Refinery and Petrochemicals Corporation Sdn Bhd (PRPC) and Pengerang Terminals (Two) Sdn Bhd have collaborated with PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) to expand its mangrove conservation programme in Pulau Tanjung Surat, Johor.
The collaboration is expected to bring the total number of trees to be planted to 30,000, with a total investment amount of RM750,000, in support of the state of Johor’s effort to develop Sg. Johor estuary in the island as an eco-tourism attraction and community-based mangrove conservation activities.
