SAN SALVADOR, March 22 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA) — The price of the basic food basket in El Salvador’s urban zones nearly reached 250 dollars in February, the National Office of Statistics and Census (ONEC) reported.
In a rural area where some products were excluded, the basic food basket reached 197 dollars in February.
Contrary to the wishes of Salvadoran families, the price of the basic food basket rose again in February and closed near 250 dollars in an urban area, according to ONEC data.
