Saudi-Led Air Strike Hits Cave Storing Drones In Yemen’s Rebel-Held Capital

SANAA, Yemen, April 21 (NNN-SABA) – The Saudi-led coalition, launched an air strike on Saturday, on a cave in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, which was used by Houthi rebels to store military drones, Saudi-run Al Arabiya TV reported.

The coalition spokesperson, Turki al-Maliki, said, the targeted cave is located in Nahdain camp, near the presidential palace, south of Sanaa.

“It is a legal military target,” al-Maliki was quoted as saying by Al Arabiya.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

Houthi rebels, meanwhile, said two air strikes hit Nahdain mountain at dawn.

This is the latest coalition air strike on alleged Yemeni rebel military drone store.

Earlier in April, the coalition said, it destroyed a Houthi drone manufacturing plant and a store containing launch pads north of Sanaa.– NNN-SABA
