Japan’s GDP Grows 0.6 Percent In Fourth Quarter Year On Year

TOKYO, Feb 14 (NNN-NHK) – Japan’s economy expanded in the Oct-Dec quarter, the government said in a report today, marking a return to growth.

According to the Cabinet Office, the economy here, in the recording period, grew at an annualised rate of 0.6 percent.

The figure for gross domestic product (GDP), the total value of goods and services produced in Japan during the quarter, increased 0.2 percent from the previous quarter, on an inflation-adjusted basis, the government’s preliminary figures showed.– NNN-NHK
