ISLAMABAD, Jan 24 (NNN-APP) – Exports of pharmaceutical goods have grown more than 26 percent, during the first half of the current fiscal year 2022-2023, as compared to the same period of last fiscal year, figures from Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), showed, yesterday.
Pakistan exported pharmaceutical goods worth 175.03 million U.S. dollars, in the Jul-Dec period, compared to exports of such goods worth 137.98 million dollars, in the previous fiscal year, according to the PBS.
In terms of quantity, exports of pharmaceutical goods increased by 88.21 percent from 15,197 tonnes to 28,603 tonnes, during the current period, the data showed.– NNN-APP
