LIMA, April 17 (NNN-ANDINA) – Peru President Martin Vizcarra on Tuesday night highlighted the level of Peruvian exports, which reached US$47.864 billion in 2018 and, therefore, set a new historical record.
“Peru has opened up to the world, has decided to reach a prominent place in international trade, and not merely be a player, but a leading character,” the President expressed.
The Head of State attended the presentation ceremony of the Association of Peruvian Exporters’ (ADEX) Board of Directors for the 2019-2021 period.
According to ADEX’s projection, Inca exports will total US$51.289 billion in 2019.
Within this framework, non-traditional shipments are projected to expand 12% this year.
