Road Accident Injured 10 In Japan’s Nara Prefecture, 20 Vehicles Damaged

TOKYO, Jan 12 (NNN-NHK) – A large vehicle collided with a line of cars near an expressway exit today, in central Japan’s Nara Prefecture, leaving 10 injured, so far, local media reported.

This morning, a truck was reported to hit a passenger car waiting for a traffic light, to exit the Keinawa Expressway in Shindomachi, Kashihara City from the rear, causing its collision with several other vehicles in front, a local police department was cited as saying.

With about 20 vehicles damaged in the accident, about 10 people have been transported to the hospital so far, all of whom are conscious, according to the latest reports.

Roads around the site were temporarily closed, and rescue operations are still ongoing.– NNN-NHK
