KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 (Bernama) — Axiata Group Berhad (“Axiata” or “the Group”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Maya Hari as an Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) with effect from 11 January 2023.
Maya, 44, currently serves as the CEO of climate-tech start-up Terrascope and serves on the board of Aviva Singlife Holdings as its Non-Executive Director and Chair of Digital & Technology Committee. In the past decade, Maya has led organizations with technology companies the likes of Twitter, Samsung Asia and Condé Nast India, successfully spearheading digitalization, monetization and scaling efforts beyond the traditional charter of each organization she has been with.
