YANGON, Jan 11 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar exported 12,355 tonnes of shrimps in the first nine months of fiscal year 2022-2023, starting in Apr, the state media, citing the fisheries department reported yesterday.
From Apr to Dec last year, the country’s export of shrimps was up by about 18.93 percent, compared to 10,388 tonnes registered a year ago, the data showed.
According to the country’s Ministry of Commerce, Myanmar exported marine products, including shrimps, worth over 548.731 million U.S. dollars, during the nine months.
The country exports agricultural products, animal products, marine products, minerals and forest products, as well as, manufacturing goods.– NNN-MNA
