YANGON, Jan 4 (NNN-MNA) – Ten people died and two others were hospitalised, after drinking alcohol at a pub, in Lwegel town of north-eastern Myanmar’s Kachin state, on Monday, a local police officer said.
“After drinking the alcohol from the pub, they suffered from sudden visual disturbances and difficulty of breathing, and were admitted to Lwegel hospital,” the police officer said, yesterday.
The two, who were admitted to the hospital, recovered after receiving medical treatment, he said.
He added that, the dead bodies were sent to the mortuary for examination, to identify the cause of death.– NNN-MNA
