SANTIAGO, Dec 1 (NNN-ANDINA) — Peruvian President Pedro Castillo and Chilean counterpart Gabriel Boric met with the Peru-Chile Business Council —within the framework of the IV Binational Cabinet held in the Chilean capital, Santiago.
The aforementioned organization brings together important business groups that promote increase in trade, investment, and tourism between the two countries.
The Tuesday gathering was part of the agenda that both top officials have been fulfilling since the morning.
The official inauguration of the Peru-Chile Presidential Meeting and IV Binational Cabinet took place with welcoming words from the Heads of State.
Later, the signing ceremony of the Joint Declaration and the Agreements of the Presidential Meeting and IV Binational Cabinet was held —followed by the ceremony of presentation of the postmark in commemoration of 200 years of diplomatic relations.

Castillo is in Chile accompanied by a delegation of Cabinet members, including Ministers Daniel Barragan (Defense), Cesar Landa (Foreign Affairs), Felix Chero (Justice-Human Rights), Alejandro Salas (Labor-Employment Promotion), Kelly Portalatino (Health), Wilbert Rozas (Environment), Roberto Sanchez (Foreign Trade-Tourism), and Willy Huerta (Interior).
The Presidency of the Republic stated that this trip is intended to strengthen the ties of friendship, cooperation for development, as well as economic and commercial integration with Chile. — NNN-ANDINA
