ISLAMABAD, Nov 23 (NNN-APP) – Pakistan’s cement exports increased by 1.25 percent, in the first four months of the current fiscal year of 2022-23, compared to the same period of the last fiscal year, according to figures from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), yesterday.
The cement exports from the country were recorded at 66.27 million U.S. dollars in Jul-Oct of the ongoing fiscal year, compared to 65.45 million U.S. dollars a year earlier, the PBS figures showed.
On a year-on-year basis, the exports increased by 94.32 percent in Oct, 2022, to 19.92 million U.S. dollars, compared to 10.25 million U.S. dollars a year earlier.
However, on a month-on-month basis, cement exports decreased by 31.65 percent in Oct, compared to exports, valued at 29.14 million U.S. dollars in Sept.– NNN-APP
