TEHRAN, Nov 21 (NNN-TASNIM) – Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), decided to strengthen its ground forces in the north-west of the country, against “separatist terrorists.”
The “separatist terrorists” in the region have caused insecurity in some areas, a statement by the IRGC Ground Force’s Hamzeh Seyyed Al-Shohada Base, was quoted as saying.
The IRGC will also cooperate with local people in its decisive actions in the region, it added.
Calling the security of Iran’s north-western provinces one of IRGC’s red lines, the statement threatened “a decisive response” against “armed thugs and terrorists,” if they continue their “malicious acts.”– NNN-TASNIM
