JAKARTA, Nov 21 (NNN-ANTARA) – An earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.5, jolted East Nusa Tenggara province, in central Indonesia last night, the country’s meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency said.
The quake occurred at 20:49 local time (1349 GMT), with the epicentre at 51 km south-east of Kupang city of the province, and the depth at 49 km under the seabed, the agency said.
The quake did not trigger a tsunami, it added.– NNN-ANTARA
