HANOI, Nov 9 (NNN-VNA) – The 2022 Hanoi International Film Festival, kicked off here last night.
The five-day event will feature 123 films from 56 countries and regions, including China, France, India, the United States. They include motion pictures, short films, documentaries, animation and contemporary Vietnamese works.
Themed “Cinema – Humanity, Adaptation and Development,” the festival aims to honour excellent international and Vietnamese cinematographic works, with high artistic value, rich in humanity and creativity in cinematic language, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ta Quang Dong, was quoted as saying at a press conference.
The festival will see a series of events to be held, such as the Competition category, World Cinema Panorama, Country in Focus: South Korean Cinema, a marketplace for film-making projects, outdoor film screenings and discussion sessions with artistes.– NNN-VNA
