TEHRAN, Oct 29 (NNN-IRNA) – The governor of Iran’s Shiraz city, announced yesterday that, a bombing attempt, in one of the busiest areas in the southern city was foiled.
On Thursday night, a person tried to detonate a bomb in Maali Abad street, but he failed with the vigilance of security and law enforcement forces, Lotfollah Sheibani, said.
The police will release the arrested bomber’s identity and more details about the bombing attempt after investigations, Sheibani said.
On Wednesday evening, an armed man attacked worshippers at the shrine of Shahcheragh, in Shiraz city, killing 15 people and injuring dozens.– NNN-IRNA
