Uzbek Economy Grew 5.8 Percent In First Nine Months

TASHKENT, Oct 27 (NNN-XINHUA) – Uzbekistan’s gross domestic product (GDP), increased 5.8 percent, year on year, in the first nine months of 2022, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said, yesterday.

The country’s GDP in the nine-month period amounted to 627 trillion soums (about 56.2 billion U.S. dollars), according to the committee.

And the per capita GDP in real terms for that period, amounted to 17.6 million soums (about 1,600 dollars), an increase of 3.6 percent, year on year, the committee said.– NNN-XINHUA
