TASHKENT, Oct 9 (NNN-XINHUA) – Mongolian judoka, Tsend-Ochir Tsogtbaatar, won the gold medal in the men’s – 73kg, at the Judo World Championships yesterday.
Tsogtbaatar defeated Japanese Soichi Hashimoto in the final, becoming the fifth world champion in the history of Mongolian judo.
Brazilian Daniel Cargnin and Hidayet Heydarov of Azerbaijan finished with the bronze medals.
The Judo World Championships runs from Oct 6 to 13.– NNN-XINHUA
